Internal Bleaching

What It Is

Some teeth darken after a root canal or traumatic injury. The discoloration comes from within the tooth itself, which means traditional whitening treatments can't reach it. Internal bleaching is a conservative cosmetic procedure that addresses this from the inside out, restoring the tooth's natural color without the need for a crown or veneer.

How It Works

We create a small access point at the back of the affected tooth and place a professional-grade bleaching agent directly inside the pulp chamber. The agent is left in place for several days to gradually lift the internal stain. We then evaluate the result and repeat the process if needed before permanently sealing the tooth.

What to Expect

Internal bleaching is a straightforward, minimally invasive procedure. Most patients see meaningful improvement in tooth color with little to no discomfort. The goal is a natural result that blends seamlessly with the surrounding teeth.
